Step 1: Navigation
To create an account, click on the 'Sign In' icon
If you are using your home personal computer to access the web page, you can find the Sign In icon in the top right-hand corner of your screen.
If you are using a mobile device, please click on the icon with 3 lines highlighted in yellow below, followed by Sign in
Step 2: Creating an Account
You will see the 'Sign In' page below:
Click on 'Create Account' and you will be asked to input your personal, contact and address details. Please complete all sections marked with a red star .
Step 3: Password Creation
In the Account Security section, you will be asked to provide a unique password for the account. The unique password must contain the following:
• Minimum of 12 characters
• One letter
• One number
• One uppercase letter
• One lowercase letter
• One special character (for example * # !%)
• Not the same as your username or email
Once you have created your password, click the 'Create' button
Step 4: Email Verification
Once you clicked on 'Create', you will see the following message and will be sent an email to verify your account.
In the email, click on the link provided. You will then see the following message:
Click 'Sign In'
Step 5: Signing In
On the 'Sign in' screen, enter your email address, then click next
Then enter your unique password and click 'Sign In'
You are now signed in and will be directed to the Reading's Parent Portal landing page.
